Chocolate: the partner of your health

Black chocolate is naturally rich in antioxidants (polyphenols) said to help slow down the aging process, improve the cardiovascular system, and protect the body from outside aggressions such as pollution, tobacco, alcohol abuse, stress and UV rays.

Chocolate also contains tonic substances, including theobromine, caffeine, phenylethylamine and serotonin, which stimulate the central nervous system, improve muscle performance and reflexes, and combat stress and depressive states.

Is chocolate fattening?

Chocolate is no more fattening than many other foods. Eating chocolate regularly is not fattening when it is part of an overall diet that is appropriate to maintaining a healthy weight. Chocolate can even be included in a low-calorie diet, as part of the total daily energy intake.
